What Is Colour Therapy?
Colour Therapy has been used for thousands of years, dating back to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India.
Colour is light of different wavelengths. Each colour has its own energy and vibrates at its own frequency. The visible spectrum of colour that we can see consists of seven main colours.Each colour in the colour spectrum resonates with the energy the seven main energy centres of our body (chakras).
Our chakras are like the workings of an engine. Each cog in the wheel needs to move smoothly in order for the engine to work properly. Good health and wellbeing is achieved by the balance of these energies. Colour therapy helps to stimulate and re-balance these energies by applying the appropriate colour to the body and thereby re-balancing our chakras.
